As they prepare to return to the road with their spring tour, Yonder Mountain String Band have extended their live itinerary with a new batch of summer tour dates. From May 1 to Aug. 15, the long-running jamgrass outfit will make 15 stops across the country, including some longtime haunts, uncommon locales and festival stages. The quintet’s 2026 touring will introduce audiences to Good as True, their 12th studio album and first featuring fiddler Coleman Smith, due to release on March 27 via their own Frog Pad Records imprint.
Yonder Mountain String Band will wrap up their previously announced spring tour dates on April 25 in Tallahassee, Fla., then fly to the opposite corner of the country to embark on another run from Anchorage, Alaska’s Atwood Music Hall on May 1. A follow-up at Fairbanks, Alaska’s Hering Auditorium on the next night will tide the band over until their sets at Tico Time Bluegrass Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival and Ogden Music Festival, which precede a trio of headline shows in Black Mountain, N.C., Marion, Va. and Bellvue, Colo. on June 5, 6 and 13. YMSB will sneak in an Aug. 1 standalone performance in Cincinnati between their appearances at Northlands Music & Arts Festival and Grand Targheen Bluegrass Festival, then round out the new tour additions with two home-state plays in Buena Vista, Colo. and Arvada, Colo. on Aug. 13 and 15.
Tickets for Yonder Mountain String Band’s new tour dates will go on sale this Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Find more information and the group’s full live calendar at yondermountain.com/tour.
