Billy Strings is looking ahead to the autumnal season. The bluegrass golden boy, known for his fast-picking skills and profound understanding of acoustic music, has teased the trajectory of his Fall Tour. In a post shared on social media, he delivered a page of obstructed lined paper, ripped out of a spiral notebook. The list suggested impending appearances on the West Coast and Texas, as well as a two-night return to Baltimore for Halloween festivities and Southern one-offs.

At this time, venues have not been shared, though the itinerary suggests dates and locations for future concerts. According to the preview, the fall run will pick up over three nights, Sept. 18, 19, and 20 in Denver. From there, the bandleader, Billy Failing, Royal Masat, Alex Heargraves, and Jarrod Walker will embark out West, beginning with a stop in Los Angeles on Sept. 25, before rolling into Inglewood, Calif., on Sept. 26.

Remaining in the Golden State, the band is projected to play on Sept. 28 in San Diego ahead of their last state-specific gigs on Oct. 2 and 3 in Oakland, Calif. From there, the group will bring their sound to the Pacific Northwest for a night in Eugene, Ore., on Oct. 6. While some of the information is blocked by the placement of a pen over the page, Everett, Wash., Oct. 9 and 10, before what appears to be a return to the South, for two nights, Oct. 23 and 24 in Huntsville, Ala.

The list continues with the band’s annual trip to Baltimore, Oct. 30 and 31. November appears to be an off month for the ensemble, who will ultimately reemerge in December for concerts in New Orleans, Dec. 4-5, followed by a Texas stint, Dec. 9 in Sugarland and Dec. 11 in Fort Worth. While Dec. 12 is present on the roster, no location has been assigned.
