The Rex Foundation has announced a new benefit concert featuring celebrated jam performers. On Feb. 21, 2026, acclaimed Americana singer-songwriter Cris Jacobs will step onstage at Baltimore’s The Green Church at Mt. Vernon Square for a special evening of music benefitting the four-decade non-profit organization founded by members of the Grateful Dead and Unite Mt. Vernon, the community-based cultural preservation organization caring for the historic venue.
For his “& Friends” format, Jacobs will be joined by trumpeter Brian Switzer, violinist Mads Tolling and cellist Alex Kelly, all recurring members of Bob Weir’s beloved Wolfpack symphonic backing band. Other accompanists in the ensemble will include keyboardist Mookie Siegel, drummers Ed Hough and Dusty Simmons and bassist Todd Herrington. Together, they’ll play through gems from the Grateful Dead songbook in “a space built for connection and care.”
Tickets for the Rex Foundation’s Baltimore benefit concert are on sale now. Secure yours and learn more about the organization at rexfoundation.org.
