Electric Forest has revealed the initial artist lineup for its 2026 staging. Returning to its longtime home of Rothbury, Michigan from June 25-28, the storied electronic summit will once again host some of the most exciting acts that the genre (and its many branching styles) has to offer, spanning electro-funk, dubstep, hyperpop, drum & bass, tech house, trap, nu-disco, indie-rock, jam and more, The festival’s first dispatch confirms 100 performers, with more to be announced as the event approaches.

Tradition remains close to the heart of Electric Forest in its 13th annual staging, and no band represents that legacy more clearly than The String Cheese Incident. The three-decade progressive bluegrass ensemble has performed at all but two of the festival’s presentations since its 2011 debut and spent six years as the official host band. In 2026, the band will return for multiple incidents through the weekend, including a special Shebongle Shebang with Shpongle.

Relix readers will notice a notable tip into jam scene favorites down the bill, including the Nashville psych sounds of Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Eggy, Dogs in a Pile, Couch and Stolen Gin. Other high-profile instrumentally oriented acts on the lineup include Passion Pit, River Tiber, Night Tapes, Bipolar Sunshine, Dixon’s Violin and New Orleans-based cover collective LSD Clownsystem, which is exactly what it sounds like. 

Electric Forest’s electronic headliners include long-running, genre-leading titans like ILLENIUM, Excision, KASKADE, Chris Lake and DJ and multi-instrumentalist GRiZ, who will perform twice, including a Chasing The Golden Hour set. Some of the other standouts of next year’s action-packed festival are an unprecedented B2B DJ set from J Diesel and T-Pain, Eli Brown, Disco Lines, Purple Disco Machine, ISOxo, Channel Tres, SBTRKT, Underscores, Frost Children, Levity, Madeon, Wooli, Ganja White Light, LSDream, Daily Bread, Bob Moses, Sullivan King, Tourist, Odd Mob, SIDEPIECE, ALLEYCVT, Sammy Virji and many more.
