Mountain Jam Festival has filled the gap in its 2025 artist lineup and recruited genre-bending improvisers Goose as the occasion’s Sunday night headliner. The newly added band joins an already-announced roster of acts, including Friday’s lead, Khruangbin, and on Saturday, Mt. Joy. The event is slated to occur from June 20-22, 2025, at Belleayre Mountain in Highmont, N.Y.
In addition to the aforementioned headliners, Mountain Jam Festival extends its musical offerings with fellow artist inclusions: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Trampled by Turtles, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Julien Baker & Torres, moe., Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Dogs in a Pile, Karina Rykman, Kitchen Dwellers, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge, Mikael Davis, Upstate, Shane Guerrette and more.
Before the 2019 hiatus, the Mountain Jam Festival was held annually by Radio Woodstock beginning in 2005 to celebrate the station’s 25-year offering of independent and eclectic radio. Over time Radio Woodstock cemented its status as the ultimate spot to experience a revered selection of jambands while also offering space for genres to collide, as the lineup represents acts with rock, folk, indie, roots, and Americana tendencies.
Notably, the event culls its title from the Allman Brothers Band’s song by the same name, forged by late-era band member Warren Haynes, a collaborator and fellow founder of the festival alongside Radio Woodstock.
2019’s final gathering at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts featured performances from then-headliners Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers and Gov’t Mule. The following year, 2020, the global pandemic displaced live music offerings, resulting in the dissolution of that year’s events and subsequent hiatus due to logistical constraints.
With the event back, tickets for the 2025 festival are on sale. For more information, visit mountainjamfestival.com.
