Hot on the heels of a performance at Suwannee Hulaween yesterday, Oct. 28, that set off its packed fall run, Greensky Bluegrass look forward to 2025 today as they unveil a new slate of winter tour dates. The pioneering jamgrass ensemble’s latest dispatch plots 16 dates across the country from mid-January to mid-February, giving fans on either coast occasion to celebrate planned returns to favorite venues.
Greensky Bluegrass’ next tour begins on Jan. 16 with a staging at Blue Lake, Calif.’s Blue Lake Casino, followed by a move East to Crystal Bay, Nev.’s Crystal Bay Club on Jan. 17. Next, the band will return to the beloved stage of Oakland, Calif.’s Fox Theater alongside Railroad Earth, commencing a run down to the Southwest that includes stops in Santa Cruz, Calif., Flagstaff, Ariz. and Phoenix through Jan. 23. To close out its first leg, the band will return to the Golden State for a stand at The Wiltern in Los Angeles in Jan. 24, preceding a final West Coast show at The Sound in Del Mar, Calif. On Jan. 25.
The quick pickers will jump from the sun of Southern California to true winter on Feb. 5, when they’ll perform at Wilkes-Barre, Pa.’s F.M. Kirby Center. The band will head on to Philadelphia’s Fillmore on Feb. 6, then stage the lone two-night stand of its tour at Washington, D.C.’s The Anthem on Feb. 7 and 8. Following performances at Red Bank, N.J.’s Count Basie Center for the Arts and Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Brooklyn Paramount on Feb. 11 and 13, the band will close out its series with a final Northeast trio, passing through New Haven, Conn.’s College Street Music Hall on Feb. 14 and Boston’s House of Blues on Feb. 15 before a series finale at Portland, Maine’s State Theatre on Feb. 16.
