The Jam podcast, hosted by Jonathan Shank, has returned for its second season of exploratory conversations with artists, music industry veterans, bands, and field tastemakers. After a successful debut season, which commenced with an episode featuring Relix editor-in-chief Dean Budnick in spring 2024 (and later featured appearances by artists such as Randy Jackson, Bill Payne, Billy Cobham, George Porter Jr., The Disco Biscuits and Cymande), the sophomore series picks up with a new conversation between Shank, Goose’s Rick Mitarotonda and the band’s manager, Ben Baruch.

The first episode of season two dropped on Sept. 10 and percolated topics such as the Connecticut jamband’s current trajectory, touching on aspects like touring, music, and more. Continuing the podcast’s weekly role out, Shank unveiled episode two yesterday, Sept. 17, in which he spoke with Rose about her current tour, which supports LP release, No One Gets Out Alive, in addition to her own podcast on the Osiris Network, Salute The Songbird

Previously, season one included banter between the program’s leading voice and guests, such as Little Feat’s Bill Payne, drummer Bill Cobham, funk master George Porter Jr., and legendary photographer Henry Diltz. The sophomore season is now streaming its initial episodes, featuring Mitarotonda plus Baruch, and the follow-up/ second installment featuring Rose.
