This Independence Day, Deep Cut will bring an exciting new event to Chicago’s riverside for four days of unforgettable live music. The inaugural presentation of Rose On The River, set to stage from July 4-7 at The Salt Shed Fairgrounds, will feature a dream team from the worlds of jam, Americana, funk, jazz, alt-rock, R&B and more, led by My Morning Jacket, Thundercat, Tash Sulatana and Vulfpeck. With 16 total acts booked to grace a single stage in sequence against a perfect summer setting, Rose On The River cements itself as the premiere venue for music-loving Chicagoans to celebrate the holiday weekend.

While daily schedules have not yet been released, Rose On The River will present four performances each day on its riverfront stage, preventing noise pollution and FOMO and courting community engagement. Beyond the titanic headliners, the festival will also welcome BADBADNOTGOOD, Flying Lotus, Neal Francis and Celebration Of The Meters, featuring Dupstaphunk alongside George Porter Jr. and Leo Nocentelli; this all-star funk outfit will salute the 50th anniversary of The Meters’ legendary Rejuvenation at Chicago’s newest festival, as well as at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre and Telluride Jazz Festival. Andy Frasco & The U.N., Domi & JD Beck, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and Tank and the Bangas will also make appearances, with Carrtoons, Giacomo Turra, Hans Williams and Karina Rykman rounding out the bill.

Presale for the first annual Rose On The River will open this Thursday, March 21 at 12 p.m. CT, followed by a general on-sale beginning on March 22 at 12 p.m. CT. For tickets and more information, visit deepcutpresents.com.
