My Morning Jacket have booked a four-night residency at The Fillmore, San Francisco’s historic music hall. This special series, set to stage on May 27, 28, 30 and 31, will be distinguished by its lack of any repeats–meaning that the Americana vanguard will present entries from its vast catalog once per in the run.

Announcing the show via a post to its social media channels, the band elaboarated on the form for its long-awaited return to the “legendary sacred space,” sharing, “we have been doing this for awhile now, and we think it makes the experience more fun for us and hopefully for all y’all as well, knowing that each night[‘]s set will always be completely different within a multiple night run at the same venue.” This design adds another level of anticipation to the Louisville, Ky. quintet’s performance, which marks its first engagement at The FIllmore since New Year’s Eve of 2006.

This series will follow a trio of exciting festival appearances for the group, beginning on April 4-7 with the eighth iteration of My Morning Jacket’s One Big Holiday concert getaway in Nuevo Vallarta, Mesico, for which the band will be joined by The War on Drugs, Courtney Barnett, Angel Olsen and more. Next, the group will head to Redondo Beach, Calif. on May 5 to headline the final day of BeachLife Festival, which will send the ensemble up the coast for day two of BottleRock Napa Valley on May 25. Following its run at The Fillmore, My Morning Jacket will move on to perform at The Capitol Groove and Bourbon & Beyond in summer and fall, closing out its currently announced live appearances for the year.
