The Allman Betts Family Revival has announced artist additions to their impending 2023 tour stops. The run will commence on Nov. 25 at The Factory in St. Louis, followed by a pair of appearances before adding guests on the road. Joining the ensemble is an exciting list of players who will assist in invigorating the night’s setlist with added instrumentation and vocals.
On the road, the band will welcome Chuck Leavell, Greg Koch, J.D. Simo, Vaylor Trucks, Melody Trucks, and Frank Hannon at select tour stops during the fall and early winter. Hull will pick up the tour’s first leg before Koch joins the ranks. Once the band reaches the Southern portion of the jaunt, the Trucks siblings will join in, as well as Leavell, functioning as a sort of familial coming together for the extended Allman Brothers Band kin.
Hannon will pick up guest duties next, and Simo will join in. During the group’s Ryman Auditorium stand, the band will welcome G. Love for the special appearance in Music City. According to The Allman Betts Family Revival’s press release, they have promised to deliver nearly three action-packed hours of music. Moreover, the Brotherhood of Light will provide visuals and trippy liquid light shows during the impending gigs.
