Wilco guitarist Nels Cline has outlined a series of late-winter dates with the Consentrik Quartet, comprised of Ingrid Laubrock, Chris Lightcap, and Tom Rainey. The four-date run will commence on February 7 at The Falcon in Marlboro, N.Y., before moving through follow-up locations in New York and Pennsylvania.
After night one, Cline and company will keep the shows coming, with a gig scheduled at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. The Big Apple stand will mark the completion of the first half of their run. On February 9 and 10, the advanced players will take the stage for two consecutive nights of music at Solar Myth in Philadelphia.
The new concert dates will arrive after Cline returns from a string of appearances slated to occur in Mexico in mid-December, leading to a break from the road for the band that recently delivered Cousins, their latest studio album.
