Umphrey’s McGee have announced their plans for New Year’s Eve. The band shared that they will mark the holiday with a return to their hometown, Chicago, for a three-night run, slated to begin on Dec. 29. All performances will take place at the Riviera Theatre.

The impending concerts will include support from lespecial on Dec. 29 and 30, then on New Year’s Eve proper, they welcome Mad Dog’s Filthy Little Secret Horns featuring Jeff Coffin. “Stay tuned for more info as we announce additional special guests to help ring in 2024 with three sets, as is tradition,” the band noted on their website.

Keyboardist Joel Cummins detailed the anticipatory holiday run with an Instagram video where he attempted to remember New Year’s classic “Auld Lang Syne” for the impending shows. “I’ll keep working on it, okay guys,” he asked in the announcement post.

Presale, umVIP tickets, and limited three-day passes will be available on Wed., Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. ET. Public on-sale begins Fri., Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. ET. More information on the NYE show can be found here.
