Talking Heads members: David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison will come together for a live Q&A to mark the 40th anniversary of their celebrated concert film, Stop Making Sense, which is set to screen at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday, Sept. 11. The forthcoming panel will be the first public appearance by the group in over 20 years. 

Esteemed director, producer and screenwriter, Spike Lee will moderate the aforementioned discussion with band members as they continue to mark the legacy of the beloved movie adaption of their concerts from December 1983. The video has been newly restored, and returns to select theaters for a global run with A24, beginning on September 22. 

Prior to the impending theatrical release, the band will deliver the deluxe edition of the Stop Making Sense soundtrack on Friday, August 18, via Rhino Records. In addition to familiar material, the LP will also boast two previously unreleased tracks. Included are takes on “Cities” and “Big Business / I Zimbra.” Along with the audio, the limited edition vinyl version features a 28-page booklet with unpublished photos and new liner notes from all four band members.
