Today, The Stone Pony announced an electrifying musical gathering celebrating Tom Marshall’s 60th Birthday. The event, promoted by Nectar’s Presents, a one-of-a-kind event is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the iconic Asbury Park, N.J., institution and promises a night filled with sensational performances, infectious rhythms, and unforgettable memories with friends of the beloved American lyricist.

At the heart of the celebration is the dynamic duo Soule Monde, comprised of the exceptionally talented Ray Paczkowski and Russ Lawton. Renowned for their captivating fusion of funk, soul, and jazz, Soule Monde is all set to bring their infectious energy to The Stone Pony stage. Also joining the party is Dezron Douglas, whose mastery of the bass–often seen alongside Trey Anastasio–will add an irresistible groove to the festivities.

Anthony Krizan Band will open the celebration. Like many of the performers and Marshall, Krizan go way back. Notably, the two were members together in Amfibian and have collaborated in several arrangements over the years. The lineup as a whole is a tribute to the musical legacy of Marshall, who is not only marking his 60th birthday but also a lifetime dedicated to the world of music. As a lyricist, songwriter, and longtime collaborator with the iconic rock band Phish, Marshall’s influence on the music scene is immeasurable with his pen on songs including “Farmhouse,” “Sample in a Jar,” “Waste” and many more.
