The annual Gretna Heritage Festival will return to Gretna, La., on Oct. 6 through 8. The Bayou State gathering, situated on the Mississippi River and overlooking the New Orleans skyline, delivered its 2023 artist lineup and a daily schedule of entertainment billed to take place over the three-day event. 

Friday, Oct. 6, features a variety of talent, including Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Lukas Nelson & POTR, Trampled By Turtles, and Herman’s Hermits, Starring Peter Noone. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lee Brice, JJ Grey & Mofro, Los Lobos, and ZZ Ward will take the stage for their festival frames the following day.

The final afternoon of entertainment, Sunday, Oct. 8, features sets from Kool & The Gang, The Temptations, Blues Traveler, and Ashley McBryde. In addition to live music, an assortment of cuisine options will be available, with more than 50 food vendors represented with an assortment of cuisine options, with over 50 vendors, craft beer options and more.
