Today, alt-J announced an impending North American trek to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut LP, An Awesome Wave. The newly detailed outing is scheduled to commence on Nov. 9 at Stubbs Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas, followed by coast-to-coast gigs in the U.S. and a lone date in the Great White North.
After night one of their North America tour, alt-J will move over to Dallas, where they’re scheduled to play at the House of Blues on Nov. 13. The group’s final Lone Star State performance will occur next, on Nov. 15 at White Oak Music Hall in Houston. From there, they’ll truck to New Orleans for a one-night stand on the Joy Theater stage.
A Nov. 18 concert at Chicago’s The Salt Shed lands next before the group makes their way to Toronto for an evening at HISTORY. alt-J will dip back down to the South next, performing at The Eastern in Atlanta on Nov. 24 and Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 26. The British ensemble will stop in Denver next, before a Dec. 1 show in Seattle and their tour closer on Dec. 5 at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Ore.
Ticket pre-sales begin Wednesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. local time, concluding on Thursday, July 20, with general on-sale beginning Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m.
