Sold Out: Ticketmaster & The Resale Racket is a Vice News documentary currently airing for free on Tubi. The film explores the means by which ticket brokers are able to buy concert tickets en masse through the use of computer technology. The documentary presents Lawrence’s Clyde Lawrence and Jordan Cohen as well as Greta Van Fleet’s Sam Kiszka and Daniel Wagner sharing their frustration with the situation. In addition, it tracks Weyes Blood manager Jason Foster as he cancels tickets secured through shady means and then reissues them at face value to the person who bought them on a secondary ticketing platform. The documentary also features Wiseguy Tickets’ Ken Lowson, who once employed technology to bypass CAPTCHA codes becoming a scalper to the scalpers, before taking a new approach to “level the playing field” for would-be concertgoers via TixFAN.

Sold Out includes appearances by Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Los Angeles Times reporter August Brown, music industry/journalist Naima Cochrane, Relix editor Dean Budnick and former federal prosecutor Erez Liebermann, among many others.
