Morrissey has announced that he will take the stage in New York City for a special four-night residency this fall. The string of performances will arrive on Oct. 21 through Oct. 25 at the historic United Palace in Washington Heights, and will serve as the final stop on his high-anticipated 40 Years of Morrissey tour.
During the run, the English rock icon will treat fans to electic setlists that span his entire career, combining tracks from his earliest projects with The Smiths as well as material from his 13 solo records, which has continued to garner the artist attention and success.
Ahead of his stint in Manhattan, Morrissey will play celebratory shows across Mexico, South America and the Eastern region of United States. He will kick off the international sweep on Sept. 10 with a one-night-stand in Mexico City, before making appearances in Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, prior to a return to The States for follow up appearances.
Tickets for Morrissey’s upcoming North American dates, including the United Palace residency, go on sale this Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m. local time. New York City tickets will be available via this link, and tickets for the other North American shows can be purchased here.
Tickets for the South American shows will be available over the following week.
