Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have plotted an appearance in New York City. The ensemble shared the announcement via their social media platforms this afternoon, revealing that they will perform at Pier 17 on July 27.
The band’s newly shared gig will occur after a stream of JRAD gigs slated for this spring and summer. The ensemble–Marco Benevento, Dave Dreiwitz, Tom Hamilton, Scott Metzger and Russo–will kick things off with an already announced three-night stand at Atlanta’s The Eastern on March 3 through 5.
After a few days in the Peach State, the jammers will take some time off the road before reconvening in New Orleans on May 4 through 6, where they’ll perform at The Fillmore. From there, they’ll dip over to Salvage Station in Asheville, N.C., prior to a gig at the Ting Pavilion in Charlottesville, Va., the next night.
More previously announced dates will take the band to Baltimore and New Haven, Conn., before their highly anticipated return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on June 3 and 4. Then, after an appearance at Scranton, Pa.’s Peach Music Festival, the group will catch their breaths before the newly plotted New York City show at Pier 17 on July 27.
Pre-sale for the Pier 17 date featuring Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is ongoing, using code: WardLiner. A general ticket on sale will follow this Friday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. ET.
