Nate Wilson has become an official member of moe. The band shared that the keyboardist has stepped in and joined their current lineup, which includes Al Schnier, Chuck Garvey, Rob Derhak, Jim Loughlin and Vinnie Amico. The ensemble also tacked on a series of April and May tour dates that will see the hexad play in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri.

In a press release, the band’s bassist, Derhak, offered, “We are thrilled to announce that our long-time friend, keyboardist Nate Wilson will be joining moe. full-time moving forward.” He continued by adding some context, “Former founding member of both Percy Hill, and Assembly of Dust (and current band leader for Ghosts Of Jupiter), Nate has been part of our lineup since our first shows without Chuck Garvey. He has since proven himself a valued contributor to our sound, and now with Chuck back in the groove, he compliments our overall style. His sense of humor and overall breadth of musical knowledge is a welcome addition.”

The newly announced dates will see the band take the stage at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla., on April 26, before following up the next night at Dallas’ The Echo Lounge. In continuation of their Lone Star State run, moe. will arrive at Austin, Texas’ Paramount Theatre on April 28 before jumping over the Big Easy, where they will deliver a set of shows at the famed Tipitina’s venue.

They will perform in Fayetteville, Ark., at JJ’s Live on May 2, before wrapping their newly announced dates on May 3 at The Truman in Kansas City, Mo. Wilson also added his own sentiments about the decision, adding, “I’m beyond excited to embark on this new adventure as full-time keyboardist for moe. The band and their fans are legends. Can’t wait to hit the road this spring!”

See the band’s newly added tour stops below. Pre-sale begins on Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general on-sale, which will commence on Friday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local time.
