The Golden Road Gathering music festival has shared who will be joining them at El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, Calf., on May 14-16, 2023. The three-day festival, which was founded by the minds behind Hangtown Music Festival and Marco’s Cafe, will welcome a dynamic blend of talent, performing unique and iconic sets.

The roster includes the enigmatic electronic duo Dirtwire, Vancouver’s Five Alarm Funk, Couch, Spunj, Island of Black and White, Ten Foot Tiger, Boot Juice and more. The Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew will also perform the seminal Remain in Light in its entirety alongside Cool, Cool, Cool, along with the horn-driven funk and soul West Coast act The California Honeydrops. The nonstop musical gathering will also see performances by Late Night Radio, The Floozies, March Fourth and Orgone. It’s notable that additional artists will be announced on Feb. 1, 2023.

“This is going to be one for the books,” said founder Ryan Kronenberg in a press release. “We are taking what we have learned over the last twelve years with Hangtown Music Festival and applying it to this new festival with a unique spin.”
