In continuation of the Hanukkah Sessions presented on YouTube, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his holiday collaborator and friend, Greg Kurstin, welcomed Inara George for a cover of “The Things We Do For Love.”
The annual celebration, which pulls in covers of music from beloved Jewish artists, continued last night with a take on the Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman number, which initially appeared on 10cc’s 1977 Deceptive Bends album.
The stunning George-led take also sees assistance from Tenacious D’s Jack Black and Kyle Grass, who appear looming in the background during the live performance on Dec. 5 at Largo’s in Los Angeles, which was recorded in anticipation of this year’s virtual celebration.
