Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy has announced the return of his annual benefit shows to the Vic Theatre in Chicago on May 19 and 20. The musician’s solo performances will be an all-request affair, giving the audience an opportunity to influence each night’s setlist.
Tweedy’s benefit shows will arrive after the bandleader, and his Wilco collaborators return from their highly-anticipated Reykjavik residency in Iceland, which will occur on April 6 through 8. Once back on U.S. soil, the group will take a stand at the High Water Festival in North Charleston, S.C., on April 16, prior to Tweedy’s solo gigs.
Tickets for Tweedy’s May 19 and 20 concerts in The Windy City are on sale now and can be purchased here.
