The Wood Brothers are teaming up with St. Paul & The Broken Bones for a co-headlining tour billed for the summer. The two bands shared that the run has been split into two legs, slated for June and July, at choice venues across the West Coast and Midwest.

The tour will begin on June 11, at the Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colo., followed by an evening at the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Mont. June dates will include special guests Cece Coakley, who will join her hosts from the top of the tour and as they continue their jaunt on June 15 at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville, Wash.

Down the coastline, the bands will arrive in The Golden State, where they will perform at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, Calif., before popping over to Reno, Nev. for a one-night stand on June 19. They’ll return to California for follow-ups in Saratoga, Calif., and Santa Barbara, representing the final concerts for the tour’s initial leg.

The Wood Brothers and St. Paul & The Broken Bones will resume their joint Midwest tour on July 10. They will start at Rock The Ruins in Indianapolis. The groups will perform in Cleveland the next night before taking their live show to the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan.

The final tour dates will take the both troupes back to Indiana before follow-ups in Missouri, and the last gig for this jaunt will be held on July 17 at The Stiefel Theatre in Salina, Kan. The final series of July dates include special guest Yasmin Williams.

“St. Paul & The Broken Bones is such a great band. We’re beyond excited to do these shows together. I also have to admit, we’re thinking of ways to steal that incredible horn section,” Oliver Wood said of the forthcoming tour.

Paul Janeway says, “We are excited to join forces with The Wood Brothers. It will be such a pleasure to share the stage with such a talented group of folks. We can’t wait to see y’all out there.”

The Wood Brothers promise to deliver new songs during the impending concert series as they work toward their ninth studio LP. St. Paul & The Broken Bones also teased a forthcoming release; more information is expected ahead of the summer tour.

Artist pre-sale tickets for all dates will go on sale on Wednesday, March 5 at 10 am local time here. General on-sale to follow on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. local time.
