Last night, Futurebirds & My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel kicked off their four-night run around the Southeast at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tenn. In celebration of the run’s start, the collaborative ensemble announced they’ll livestream their closing performance at the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Dec. 10 for free.

Futurebirds and Broemel’s run is in support of their releases, Bloomin’ and Bloomin’ Too, which were released on July 28, 2021, and Sept. 5, 2022, respectively. On the records, the My Morning Jacket multi-instrumentalist and producer joined the indie psych rockers Futurebirds for original arrangements that highlight their shared and individual musical inclinations. The live shows are sure to showcase the wonderful chemistry found on the records, along with jams over each other’s select work and covers.

Futurebirds and Broemel will make a stop tonight at Headliners in Louisville, Kenn., followed by a sold out show at Saturn in Birmingham, Ala., on Dec. 9, and finally, the livestreamed show at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Dec. 10.
