This afternoon, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead revealed that they have canceled their impending New Year’s Eve run, which was slated to take place at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo., on Dec. 30 and 31. To counter the news, they also shared plans to perform their first two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on June 3 and 4.

In a post shared across the band’s social media platforms, they disclosed: “Unfortunately, JRAD will not be performing our upcoming shows over the New Year’s holiday at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, CO.” They continued, “As disappointed as we are to relay this to our community of friends and fans, we are hopeful that we can brighten the mood a bit by announcing that we will be back in summer for our first two night stand at Red Rocks, June 3-4, 2023.”

The band followed up by sharing that automatic refunds would be made for fans who purchased concert tickets through AXS online or over the phone before once again offering apologies. The post shared by Joe Russo’s Almost Dead post included that Red Rocks Amphitheatre pre-sale will begin on Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. MT, followed by general tickets on sale, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. MT.

The reason for the band’s cancellation was not made public in the initial post.
