Today, The String cheese Incident sent out invitations to ring in the New Year with a three-night run at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colo., on Dec. 29, 30 and 31. The Colorado-bred jamband shared their excitement to throw the party in their home state and hinted that they’ll be joined by an array of special guests over the weekend.

“You are cordially invited to ring in the New Year with The String Cheese Incident over three nights in the Mile High City at the fabulous @MissionBallroom on December 29, 30, and 31! It’s going to be another #HometownThrowdown that is not to be missed,” the ensemble wrote on Instagram. “Stay tuned for info on some special friends we’re recruiting to join us on a few tunes over this 3-night party!”

It’s notable that, following their New Year’s run, The String Cheese Incident – comprised of Michael Kang, Michael Travis, Bill Nershi, Kyle Hollingsworth, Keith Moseley, and Jason Hann – will welcome Maddy O’Neal during their weekend-long destination event at Runaway Bay, Jamaica, from Jan. 20 through 24 of 2023.
