Metallica have unveiled plans for its third annual event, dubbed Helping Hands Concert and Auction, benefiting All Within My Hands Foundation, which is “dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce, the fight against hunger and other critical local services.” The one-night affair will occur on Dec. 16 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

On their official social media platforms, the band shared: “We’re psyched to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together with you, live and in person! We’ve lined up some incredible items and experiences to auction off at the show, with 100% of ticket and auction proceeds going directly to support our efforts to combat food insecurity, provide funds for disaster relief, and support workforce education.”

This year marks the third occurrence after Metallica debuted the event in 2017. The most recent rendition of the benefit event was hosted remotely in November 2020, and assisted in raising funds for Feeding America, the American Association of Community Colleges, and a variety of COVID-19 and disaster relief efforts in the wake of the worldwide epidemic.

Tickets for the third annual affair go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. PT, at AXS.com. A fan club pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Metallica.com

Travel packages, including tickets and lodging, will be available during the ticket sale via MetallicaTravel.com
