Last night, Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers brought their How Dare You Tour to the famed Radio City Music Hall in New York City, following a stint at this year’s Newport Folk Festival. The band’s one-night stand in The Big Apple featured a 21-song single set performance that included a sit-in by surprise guest Bruce Springsteen, who joined the group on “Chinatown,” a tune that appeared on Bleachers’ 2021 LP, Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night, with accompaniment by The Boss.

The concert’s first half picked up with “91” off Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night before visiting their 2017 repertoire on “Dreaming of Mickey Mantle.” Then, Bleachers returned to their latest record with “Wild Heart,” “How Dare You Want More” and “ Big Life” before dipping into their Gone Now tracking list on “I Miss Those Days,” “Everyone Lost Somebody” and an exquisitely performed “Goodmorning.”

Next, the band preluded their sit-in with the insertion of “All My Heroes” before running through a take on Tom Waits’ “Jersey Girl,” a song that Springsteen has covered throughout the years. Then, the night’s guest stepped out and assisted Bleachers on their 2021 collaboration, adding an acoustic twist to the number as stated by Antonoff in a fan-shot video, which can be viewed below. During the performance, Antonoff and Springsteen delivered the lyrics to “Chinatown,” which also functioned as a sing-along for delighted fans.

The latter half of the concert featured additional tunes off Bleachers’ albums, Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night and Gone Now, the band also ran through a cover of The Waterboys’ “The Whole of the Moon.” The show continued with song from the 2014 album Strange Desire, on “I’m Ready to Move On,” before a reprise of “Wild Heart,” which came before “45” and “You’re Still a Mystery. Next, band introductions followed before they rocked into “I Wanna Get Better.” Then, “Don’t Take the Money” landed before the night’s finale, “Stop Making This Hurt.”

After last night’s performance in New York City, Bleachers will continue their How Dare You Tour this evening in Lewiston, N.Y., where they will perform at Artpark Amphitheatre. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here
