The Black Keys have announced two events ahead of their highly anticipated debut of Dropout Boogie on May 13. First, the band will kick things off with a rare club appearance on May 11 at the iconic Troubadour in Los Angeles. Then, on album release day, the duo will participate in an album release party with iHeart Radio stations across the country, beginning at 7 p.m. PT.
Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney will celebrate their 11th studio album when they perform an intimate concert at the 500-person capacity Troubadour next Wednesday. The show will be livestreamed via Flymachine.
A few days later, on May 13, the Akron, Ohio natives will appear on iHeart Radio. The longtime friends and collaborators will continue honoring their new album over the airwaves and live on YouTube, presenting fans with a unique opportunity to experience new music with the band for the first time.
The Flymachine passes, and exclusive merchandise will be available here. In-person tickets for the Troubadour concert go on sale on May 9. The fan club sale will begin at 9 a.m. PT, followed by a general on-sale at 11 a.m. PT.
