The Weeknd has shared that he and Swedish House Mafia will fill Kanye West’s slot at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., on Sunday, April 17 and 24. The change comes after West decided to drop out of the festival after a social media disagreement with fellow festival headliner Billie Eilish. Read the full story here

Today, The Weeknd shared the latest festival lineup with his Twitter followers, posting an image of the lineup without a caption or comment. Swedish House Mafia was already included on the 2022 roster, but they have been bumped to headliner status following West’s decision. This year’s event will also mark the second time The Weeknd has headlined Coachella, following a 2018 performance.

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd are frequent collaborators; the two musical acts dropped the song “Moth to a Flame” last year. Swedish House Mafia also produced two tracks off The Weeknd’s 2022 LP, Dawn FM
