On Saturday, April 2, the Disco Biscuits wrapped their three-night run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. The evening saw the quartet perform material both new and old including a bust-out cover of The New Deal’s “Denmark Massive” which started the show and had not been performed since June 9, 2008.

After “Denmark Massive,” the Disco Biscuits flowed into their first studio track in 10 years “Lake Shore Drive.” The set, which was a non-stop affair, continued with classics including an inverted version of “Morph Dusseldorf” into “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night” into “Cyclone” and back into “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night” to close the set.

The Disco Biscuits started their second set, which was also a nonstop set with “Vassillios.” They then segued into “Orch Theme” which morphed into the band’s first inverted performance of “Sweating Bullets” which also hadn’t been heard in any form since Jan. 31, 2019. They next moved into “Tempest” which flowed back into “Vassillios.” The second set was closed with “I Remember When.”

After a short break, they returned to the stage for an encore picking off where they left off, finishing the “dyslexic” version of “I Remember When” which was followed without pause by a bust out of “Fifth of Beethoven,” which hasn’t been performed since Nov. 3, 2018.

“Another epic run at the Rock Palace in the books — “Capped” off with a smokin’ hot, sold out, Saturday Night Special that dreams are made of,” wrote the band on Instagram. “This thing called Bisco can’t be made purely on stage – it requires all of you, the fans, just as much as it requires all of us up here.”
