Today, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong shared their latest single, “Move Like That,” off of their upcoming studio album Perspective, due to release on April 8. The single features the percussive mastery of The String Cheese Incident’s Jason Hann who recently performed with the band at the North Beach Music Festival in Miami, in early December 2021.

“Since the live music industry had shut down while we were recording Perspective, we were granted a rare opportunity to collaborate with some seriously awesome musicians who would’ve otherwise been busy touring. Enter longtime friend and badass percussionist Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident,” said guitarist and lead vocalist “Scrambled Greg” Ormont in a press release. “Jason added a whole new dimension and texture to ‘Move Like That,’ which is about two people seeing each other from across the room and catching fire. The seduction grabs hold and never lets go. There’s nothing left to do but let the sparks fly.”

The song is the third single from the upcoming LP to feature a guest artist. The previously released “Indiglo,” featured ALO’s Zach Gill on the keyboard, and Nashville funk collective Here Come The Mummies contributed a horn section to Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s single “Elephante.”

Starting on March 3, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will embark on an extensive summer tour in support of the album with dates running through early July.
