Robert Plant and Alison Krauss debuted a music video for their song “Searching For My Love” which comes off of their second collaborative offering, Raise The Roof, released on Nov. 19, 2021.

Raise The Roof is the duo’s first shared work since they released their joint album, the highly acclaimed, Raising Sand 14 years ago. Much like its predecessor, Raise The Roof is made up primarily of covers and showcases the artist’s honey-sweet and slithering vocals. “Searching For My Love” was originally recorded by Bobby Moore & The Rhythm Aces and released in 1966 and serves as an excellent example of the two singers’ vocal styles and musical chemistry.

The music video for the track was directed and produced by Matt Mahurin and stars Rolan Meyer. Meyer acts as a traveler and explorer quite literally searching for his love; he looks to the bottom of the ocean, through the night and fog, even through time. Once he finds a treasure he looks downward at it with a vapid expression. Though he never finds his love he continues to look and through Mahurin’s skillful directing the viewer is left with a tinge of hope.

Plant and Krauss are set to tour across the U.S. and Europe starting on June 1 and into July.
