Courtney Barnett took to social media to announce that due to a positive COVID-19 test, the remainder of her U.S. tour has been postponed.
The songstress wrote, “So sorry to announce that we are postponing the rest of the shows on our USA tour due to a positive Covid result this morning. My team are working hard to reschedule dates, so if you hold on to your tickets in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, New Haven and Burlington we’ll have news for you very soon.” She continued, “Apologies to everybody looking forward to these shows, we are heartbroken but so grateful that we’ve been able to play the shows we have.”
Concerts previously scheduled for Feb. 4 at The Met in Philadelphia, Pa., Feb. 5 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Feb. 8 at Wang Theatre in Boston, Mass., and Feb. 10 and 11 at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vt. have been postponed.
