The War on Drugs have announced that they’ve decided to postpone their upcoming shows in Nashville and Atlanta due to a touring member testing positive for COVID-19. The performances were scheduled to occur at the Ryman Auditorium on Jan. 24 and Atlanta’s Tabernacle on Jan. 25.

The War on Drugs took to Instagram to share the news. They expressed their heartbreak about the ongoing difficulties but reassured fans that “If everyone remains negative and healthy, we will continue the tour in Philly on Jan 27th.” Though the news left would-be concertgoers a bit disenchanted, the comment section showed admiration for their caution and empathy towards their situation.

The War on Drugs are set to perform at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 29.
