New York-born instrumental trio Consider the Source have announced they’ll bring their hybrid electronic, acoustic and Middle Eastern-influenced sound to the road for a string of dates in the Spring. The announcement comes hot on the heals of their LP Hybrid Volume 1: Such As A Mule, which was released on Dec. 17, 2021.

The album sees the three men combining jam and electronica sounds with traditional Central Asian music. They showcase their proficiency with darbuka, dombra, bass ukulele and more.

Consider the Source’s tour will kick off at the 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke, Va. on March 24. From there, they’ll loop up to the East Coast with stops in Asheville N.C., Winchester, Va., Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Boston. They’ll perform as north as Albany, N.Y. and are set to close the tour at the City Winery in New York City on April 30. Each set will feature a full performance of Hybrid Volume 1: Such As A Mule along with other tracks.

In conjunction with the tour announcement, Consider the Source released a video for their new song “Rock, Flag & Eagle.”
