Big Something have released a full-length live compilation album titled Escape From The Living Room. The LP features a collection of tracks captured from the band’s favorite shows over 2020 and 2021, including a recording from their livestream concert at Ovation Sound recording studio and their first live performance in-person show of 2021.
Highlights featured on the LP include a guest appearance from Too Many Zooz Leo P on sax on “Timebomb” and the debut performance of “Bob and Weave” from Mountain Music Festival, in Oak Hill, W.Va on June 5, 2021 – the bands first live performance after a year in quarantine.
“That was a really special show,” Nick MacDaniels says of the Mountain Music Festival in a press release. “That was the first moment in front of a large audience since the pandemic began where I think we really felt some light at the end of the tunnel as a band and crew. And I think everyone in the audience there was collectively feeling the same thing after over a year of no shows. The energy was unbelievable. Live music can be such a powerful healing force for both those who experience it and those who make it and it was obvious we all really needed it that night.”
Big Something are currently on tour and have dates planned through June 26.
