The Disco Biscuits made their long-awaited debut at Pelham, TN’s The Caverns last night. The performance had been postponed several times due to COVID as well as after because of a conflicting Bonnaroo booking.
The show opened with the Disco Biscuits’ first take on “Step Inside” since March 15, 2010. The Biscuits played the original 19 times from 2008-2010, before shelving it. Then, the Philadelphia group moved into fitting renditions of “The Tunnel” and “Caves of the East,” both of which nodded to their subterranean location. Later in the night, the Biscuits also dusted off a cover of JJ Cale’s “After Midnight” for the first time since their December 13, 2018 set at Mayan Holidaze
The Disco Biscuits will return to The Caverns this evening.
