Alt-J have released a beautiful pixel art music video for their single “Get Better.” The soothing six-minute serenade is their latest single off their upcoming album, The Dream, which will release on Feb. 11.
The video for “Get Better” is flush with almost paradoxically vivid scenes; the artists didn’t waste a single computerized square, and the sentimental lyrics of Joe Newman only add to the artistry. The song is wonderfully contemporary as it distantly and lovingly gazes back on 2009 while digesting the daily realities of the modern era.
