American indie rock band Car Seat Headrest have announced that they’ll be touring across much of North America in 2022. The 34 show tour will kick off at the Palace Theater in St. Paul, Minn. on March 16 and continue through May 20, where it will conclude at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The band wrote in a press release, “You are formally invited to a venue near you to partake in The CAR SEAT HEADREST MASQUERADE TOUR for a night of music, dancing, and identity loss. We are deeply excited to crawl out of our pit and onto the spot-lit stage once more. For a few hours on a spring night, you too can slip out of your mind and into the ever-changing shared world of the theater.”

In addition to the announcement of their tour, the band also shared they will release a limited edition tour-only CD titled The MADLO EPs. The CD is a compilation of two previous digital releases; MADLO: Influences features four covers of songs that inspired their most recent offering, Making a Door Less Open, and MADLO: Remixes which is made up of five remixes of the band’s tracks done by different producers.
