George Harrison’s triple album All Things Must Pass is a 23-track triple album released in the wake of the Beatles break-up. Harrison, who produced the record alongside Phil Spector, balanced spiritual musings, engaging melodies and a sense of collective joy on the celebrated recording. Capitol/Ume will issue a 50th Anniversary Edition of All Things Must Pass on August 6. Dhani Harrison serves as executive producer for the project, which has been remixed from the original tapes.
All Things Must Pass 50th Anniversary Edition will be available in a variety of formats. The Super Deluxe Edition box set, offers 8 LPs or 5CDs plus 1 Blu-ray audio disc, that includes 47 demos and outtakes (42 of which were previously unreleased). The limited edition Uber Deluxe Edition box set, also includes a 96-page scrapbook curated by Olivia Harrison, filled with memorabilia from the era, as well as a 44-page book explores the making of All Things Must Pass. The Uber Deluxe Edition box set also offers 1/6 scale replica figurines of Harrison and the gnomes featured on the album cover, a limited edition illustration by musician and artist Klaus Voormann, as well as a copy of Paramahansa Yogananda’s “Light from the Great Ones” and Rudraksha beads, contained in custom-made boxes.
