On Nov. 20, some of the jam underground’s finest performers formally united as the All’s Eye Trio to issue the debut single “West Hill Road.” Featuring storied jam fusion guitarist Ari Joshua, former Goose drummer Ben Atkind and rising Brattleboro, Vt.-based organist Kris Yunker, the ensemble’s first statement is totally distinctive, combining their talents to cultivate a heavy, bright electro funk-fusion blast, featuring serious solos and far-reaching interplay from all vaunted participants. It’s cerebral, danceable and a thrilling start to the new collaborative effort. This week, fans can experience the excitement for themselves with a quick introductory tour.
The newly initiated All’s Eye Trio kicked off their run on Wednesday, Nov. 20 with an album release show at The Stone Church in Brattleboro, Vt. Tonight, Nov. 21, they’ll ride that momentum into a follow-up at Waterbury, Vt.’s Zen Barn. ON Saturday, Nov. 23, the band will touch down in Manchester, Vt. for a stand at the Main Pub, then rush off to Maynard, Mass. for a final engagement Sanctuary.
