Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith are remaining in the Christmas spirit. After unveiling their new holiday single yesterday, Nov. 20, entitled “Christmas Tree in the Window,” the brothers, otherwise known as Dawes, have revealed details about their annual concert gathering, which marks the onset of the yuletide season. This year’s event is slated for Los Angeles’ The Bellwether on Saturday, Nov. 7.

According to Dawes’ social media post outlining the impending concert, Taylor and Griffin have tapped friends, including John C. Reilly, Eric Krasno, Theo Katzman and Jonny Fritz, to participate. Outlining their intent, the brothers expressed: “Some folks have asked me if this is gonna be an Oh Brother Tour type show or if it’s gonna be more about the guests. Here’s your answer: It’s going to be both!”

Extending further background on the occasion, they added, “It’s an Evening With so we’re gonna have all night to get deep into what we’ve been doing this tour as well as having our amazing friends make it a party. Maybe we’ll even play our new tune.”

News of Dawe’s holiday show arrives on the heels of yesterday’s holiday single release. “Christmas Tree in the Window” is “a song about the spirit of Christmas making someone decide to be a better person,” Taylor shared in the official press release.

“It’s been easy to get cynical about the holiday season as I’ve gotten older, but there are still moments when a song, a decoration, or a special moment can bring all the magic back. This song is obviously a ridiculous example of that feeling, but hopefully still an experience we can all relate to at its core.”
