On Feb. 25, Widespread Panic keyboardist JoJo Hermann descended upon The Purple Building in Nashville for his first of three Shut Up And Play livestreams, offering – among others things – a stirring edition of the Professor Longhair classic “Tipitina.”
Shut Up And Play will continue on March 4 and March 11th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT, with a slew of “musical performances, audience interactions, and an array of stories and surprises.”
Hermann will also be collecting donations for the Athens, Ga.-based musicians’ health and resource center Nuci’s Space via @ShutUpAndPlay on Venmo or PayPal.
