Travis Book, songwriter and bass player for the Infamous Stringdusters, has announced a new set of dates for his ‘Travis Book Happy Hour’ livestream series. The series will resume in early 2021 and will be presented by the newly launched Americana Vibes record label.

According to a press release, “[Book [debuted his ‘Happy Hour’ concept back in June with longtime collaborator Sarah Siskind and has since become a staple in the Asheville, NC music scene – with its home base located at The Grey Eagle. The events, which have been streamed via Facebook Live, are designed to offer a combination of music, conversation and happiness, where Travis melds together unique musical collaborations and conversations about matters of being – all revolving around a common theme.”

“I started The Travis Book Happy Hour in response to the changes that swept through the entertainment industry in the spring of 2020,” shared Book (quote via press release). “I needed to make music, to do something different, to reinvent myself, in a sense. I was looking for the best way to serve the music community and grow creatively and realized the opportunity was there, at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, to do something different; a variety show with musical guests, interviews, and conversation about matters of being or what to do with ourselves this life. It’s been a revelation to make music and converse with my friends and dig deeper roots here in my community in Western North Carolina. Season 2, which starts January 6th, is packed with another round of phenomenal guests that I’m thrilled to share the stage with.”

Guests on previous episodes included Lindsay Lou, Mimi Naja and more. This coming season will feature Andy Falco, Anders Beck, Nicki Bluhm and more. Check out a schedule of announced dates below!
