On Dec. 31, Tipitina’s.TV in partnership with nugs.tv will air ‘NYE in NOLA,’ a livestream event featuring five bands playing in five different venues in New Orleans. The acts will each celebrate the New Year in a different U.S. time zone. The event will be hosted by John Goodman, and it will kick off at 10 p.m. ET.

The five bands will be Galactic, Samantha Fish, Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth Brass Band and Anders Osborne, while George Porter, Jr., Kermit Ruffins, Big Sam and Ani Di Franco will serve as special guests. The acts will perform at Tipitina’s, The Howlin’ Wold, The Maple Leaf, Chickie Wah Wah and d.b.a.
