The Avett Brothers have shared their take on the Woody Guthrie folk classic “This Land Is Your Land” in a new clip, by legendary music video director Samuel Bayer. (Bayer famously directed Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video.)

Explained Seth Avett, “Samuel has highlighted the timelessness of perhaps the most quintessential American folk song by creating a timeless music video marrying performance with the most lovely imagery of American people.
