NYC Nightlife United has announced a new livestream series, ‘The NYC Nightlife United Sessions,’ which aims to raise funds for New York City’s independent venues and staff. The first session will occur on Sept. 13, beginning at 3 p.m.

This first session will feature DJs, performers, dancers and more, including “Monday Blue, Scienze, The Rogue One, Brass Queens, Oriza Party (DJ Bembona x DJ Woof), Mr JPatt (The Knocks), Pleasure Jams, and The Floor Realty Crew.”

NNU is also offering grants for “small businesses, artists and members of the nightlife ecosystem.” According to a press release, “each grant applicant will be pre-screened for compliance with the eligibility and application requirements on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. All pre-screened and approved applications will be submitted to the NYC Nightlife Grant Selection Committee for review. Grants are made on a rolling basis. As fundraising continues through the outbreak and recovery phases of the crisis, the Fund will adapt to emerging needs as the situation evolves.” For more information, head to nycnightlifeunited.com.
