This week the Grateful Dead’s ‘All The Years Live’ video series is headed back to Halloween 1980 with a choice, set three “Fire On The Mountain.”
Explains GD archivist/legacy manager David Lemieux, “A rare ‘Fire’ without ‘Scarlet,’ this version comes out of ‘Space’ on the final night of the Dead’s five+ weeks of shows at the Warfield and Radio City Music Hall, during which the Dead played three sets per night. This was included on the electric album from these shows, Dead Set.”

August 27, 2020 at 12:39 pmNice, I liked the spacey opening. I did all the Radio City shows and have bootlegs of all Warfield and Radio City Music Hall, BUT when is a boxset coming with finely tuned shows? The acoustic opening sets were great.
